Greetings Wildcats!

After fifteen years of teaching and working as a leader in public schools, I am thrilled to step into this role and serve the °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ, staff and families of this wonderful community.

As a leader and educator I firmly believe that all °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ can learn and achieve at high levels and it is our job to create learning environments that foster °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ’ strengths and push them to grow.  Throughout my career I have cultivated a strong collaborative approach and I know that °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ thrive, both academically and socially, when we work together to educate and support them.  I love working in schools and I feel energized every day by the connections I get to make with my °ÅÀÖÊÓƵ, their families and my colleagues.  I am looking forward to an amazing year here at LCC!

When I am not on campus I enjoy exploring new places and being active outdoors.  I love to cook, garden, dance and see live music when I can.  My family and I recently relocated to San Diego and we look forward to new adventures to come.

Jeana Utech

LCC families-

My name is Jean Utech and I am an Assistant Principal at LCC.

I want to begin by saying how excited I am to partake in this school year's journey with you. A large part of my role here at LCC will be supporting and celebrating student growth while promoting a positive culture and sense of community here on campus.

Professionally I have over 16 years of experience in education and have had the opportunity to serve Middle Schools, High Schools, and Elementary Schools as a classroom teacher, Instructional leader, Intervention Administrator, and Assistant Principal. I lead with the firm belief that we, as a community, are better and stronger when we work together.

Personally- I am married to my High School sweetheart and together we have 4 beautiful children and 1 goofy dog. I enjoy traveling and visiting other countries while learning about different cultures and customs. Closer to home I like puttering in my garden, Sunday dinner with my family, and working with clay at my pottery wheel.
