BECOMING A GUEST (SUBSTITUTE) TEACHER

Welcome to the ��Ƶ Valley Union School District! As a Guest Teacher, you are important to us. It would be difficult to operate our schools without persons such as yourself providing continuity of service during absences of regular staff members.

To become an essential part of our team please do the following:

Additional Application Requirement:

Current teaching credential / or substitute teaching permit

Tuberculosis (TB) test results-administered within the past 4 years

Clearing house fingerprint clearance (Fingerprinting can be completed at the San Diego County Office of Education Credential department. For information, please visit .)

After applying via , you will be contacted to attend one of our Guest Teacher screening interviews via Zoom.

If you do not currently hold a valid California Teaching Credential, please visit for information on how to obtain a substitute permit.
